I had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. The staff at Logis L'Auberge Du Gros were friendly and efficient, and they made sure I was settled into my room quickly. Despite the hotel being a bit off the main routes, the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views made up for it. The room, although old-fashioned, was spacious and clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the heating already on when I arrived on a cold and rainy day. The highlight of my stay was definitely the restaurant, which served excellent food. The menu du jour offered great value for money, and the quality of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Sitting on the quiet terrace in the afternoon, overlooking the fields and watching the swallows, was a delightful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for its reasonable price, great food, and peaceful atmosphere.

The menu du jour was a great value, offering above average quality. We also appreciated the quiet rooms, despite the hotel being situated next to a busy road. the swallow nests near our bedrooms added a charming touch to our stay.

The location was not ideal for those traveling by bicycle as it was situated on top of a hill, only reachable via a busy road. the lack of welcome and indifference from the staff left much to be desired.
